Instructions:
Preheat Oven – Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare Puff Pastry – Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. If it’s too thick, gently roll it out a bit.
Add Fillings – Spread Dijon mustard over the pastry if using. Layer ham slices evenly, then sprinkle cheese on top. Add black pepper and oregano for extra flavor.
Fold & Seal – Fold the puff pastry over the filling like a pocket or roll it up into a log. Seal the edges by pressing them with a fork.
Egg Wash – Brush the top with beaten egg for a golden, crispy finish.
Bake – Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
Serve – Let cool slightly before slicing. Enjoy warm with a side of honey mustard or a fresh salad!
