Gradually add 1-1.5 cups of water (adjust to desired consistency) and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 3-5 minutes, or until the oatmeal reaches your preferred thickness. - Serve:
Divide the oatmeal into two bowls. Top with chopped apple, mashed banana, and nuts or almonds.
