  1. Combine Dry Ingredients:
    In a bowl, mix together the ground oat flakes, regular oat flakes, and cinnamon.
  2. Prepare Toppings:
    Chop the apple and mash the banana.
  3. Cook the Oatmeal:
    In a small saucepan, heat the coconut oil over medium heat. Add the dry oat mixture and cook, stirring constantly, for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Add Water:
    Gradually add 1-1.5 cups of water (adjust to desired consistency) and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 3-5 minutes, or until the oatmeal reaches your preferred thickness.
  5. Serve:
    Divide the oatmeal into two bowls. Top with chopped apple, mashed banana, and nuts or almonds.
