ou will only need 2 ingredients and a little water. See the necessary quantities:
1 1/2 cups of water (360 ml)
2 cups of sugar (380 g)
2 cups of powdered milk (200 g)
Note: the measured cup is 240 ml.
This recipe yields about 800g of condensed milk. If you want less, cut the recipe in half.
METHOD OF PREPARATION
Place two cups of sugar and one and a half cups of water in a saucepan or milk jug. Mix well. Place over high heat and bring to a boil. When it starts to boil, count two minutes then turn off the heat.
Pour the water and sugar mixture into the blender and add the two cups of powdered milk.
Blend for three minutes until smooth. Transfer the condensed milk to a container and let it cool.
Once cooled, place it in the refrigerator for a few hours to acquire the ideal consistency.
Bonus tip
When homemade condensed milk is in the refrigerator, it is normal for a little foam to form on top. If you prefer, you can remove this foam with a spoon, but it is not necessary.
This does not affect the taste or consistency of the condensed milk. And if you only want to make one can of condensed milk, simply reduce the quantities by half!
