Knead the Dough

First Rise

Place the kneaded dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth or plastic wrap, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, until doubled in size.
Shaping and Second Rise
Shape the Dough
Punch down the dough and shape into a loaf. Place in a greased 9×5-inch loaf pan or shape into a round loaf on a lined baking sheet.
Second Rise
Cover and let rise again for 30 minutes, until doubled in size.
Baking the Bread
Preheat Oven
Preheat to 375°F (190°C).
Bake
Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped. The internal temperature should be around 190°F (88°C).
Cool
Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then on a wire rack before slicing.
