Commercial floor cleaners can be expensive and filled with chemicals. A homemade floor cleaner is not only cost-effective but also eco-friendly and safe for your family. This simple yet powerful mixture will leave your floors sparkling clean and looking like new.
Ingredients
1 gallon of warm water
1 cup of white vinegar (for shine and grease removal)
2 tablespoons of baking soda (to lift dirt and neutralize odors)
1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap (to cut through grease)
10–15 drops of essential oil (optional, for fragrance; lavender, lemon, or tea tree work well)
Instructions
Mix the Ingredients:
In a large bucket, combine the warm water, white vinegar, baking soda, and liquid dish soap.
Stir the mixture until all the ingredients are well dissolved.
Add Essential Oil (Optional):
For a pleasant fragrance and additional antibacterial properties, add a few drops of your favorite essential oil.
Mop the Floor:
Dip a mop or microfiber cloth into the solution, wring out excess liquid, and mop the floor thoroughly.
