Step 2: Shake It Loose
Once the eggs are cooled, grab one and place it in a medium-sized sealable container, like a Tupperware or small jar. Add a little cold water—just enough to cover the bottom of the container—and seal it tightly. Shake the container vigorously for 10-15 seconds. The egg will knock against the sides, cracking the shell and loosening it from the egg white. The water inside helps prevent sticking and aids in separation.
Step 3: Roll It Off
Remove the egg from the container, where the shell will already be peeling off. Gently roll the egg on a countertop or between your hands. This rolling motion separates any remaining bits of shell, allowing it to slide off easily. Rinse the egg under cold water to remove any small fragments.
With this method, you’ll have a perfectly peeled, smooth egg in no time!
