Warm baths, small appliances perfect for heating environments such as the bathroom or small rooms, can be very useful during the winter. However, their use can significantly affect your electricity bill if you do not pay attention to energy consumption. In this article, we will analyze how much you consume a warm bath and provide some tricks to save money.
How much does a warm bath use?
The consumption of a warm bath depends on its power, measured in watts (W). The most common models have a power ranging between 1,000 and 2,000 W.
- 1,000 W: Consummates about 1 kWh per hour of use.
- 2,000 W: Consumes about 2 kWh per hour of use.
To calculate the actual cost of consumption, multiply the kWh used for the price of the electricity indicated in your bill (usually, between 0.20 and 0.35 € per kWh). For example:
A warm bath of 2,000 W on for 1 hour can cost up to 0,70 €.
If used every day for 2 hours, the monthly cost can exceed 40 €.
