Once again baking soda can save the day!
Make a paste with baking soda and water. Mix the ingredients until you obtain a firm and homogeneous paste.
Using a soft bristle brush, cheesecloth or lint-free cloth, clean the soleplate of the iron with the paste we made with water and baking soda.
If your iron is steam, the advice is to clean the holes in the sheet metal by passing the cotton swab soaked in the paste made by us.
After cleaning, remove the paste made with water and bicarbonate with a clean, dry cloth. If you wish, turn the iron on for a few minutes so that it dries better.
You will probably have a practically new iron, which will no longer burn your clothes as it will.
