Pour half a bottle of vinegar into a spray bottle and spray it over the entire inside surface of the tank. Let it sit for a couple of hours to optimize its cleaning effect.
Then use the sponge to remove all the dirt, then use the toilet brush to make sure you remove all the limescale and mould.
Once all the dirt has been removed, rinse and open the water valve to refill the tank.
