For safe elimination of lanternflies, several approaches are recommended:

1.  Manual solutions:
–  Crushing nymphs and adults:  Reduce their population by crushing them. Wear gloves to avoid skin irritation.
–  Removing egg masses:  Carefully scrape them from surfaces and immerse them in alcohol or a disinfectant to neutralize them.

2.  Using traps:
–  Sticky strips:  Place them on tree trunks to trap insects. Protect them with wire mesh to avoid predators.

3.  Chemical treatments:
–  Insecticidal soaps or neem oil:  These products can be used with caution. Follow the instructions carefully and avoid contaminating waterways.
