The ingredients of this natural and powerful cleaner are:
2 tablespoons of Marseille soap
2 tablespoons of baking powder
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
Water
All these ingredients are capable of degreasing, cleaning and disinfecting thoroughly for days. In addition, Marseille soap and baking soda can spread a pleasant scent throughout the house. The power of lemon combines to provide a degreasing effect even on the most stubborn stains.
Application of the natural tile cleaner
Once all the ingredients are in place, they can be combined to create the all-natural DIY cleaner. Dissolve the Marseille soap in a saucepan using the classic double boiler method until you get a homogeneous and smooth mixture.
Then add the baking soda and stir everything. The lemon juice is added immediately after complete straining: this creates the cleaner to degrease kitchen tiles in no time.
It is applied directly to tiles rich in grease and dirt to remove oil, sauce or any other dirt. Let it act for five minutes, then rinse with hot water. Dry thoroughly and repeat the process after a week.
The same cleaner can also be used on stainless steel sinks or cookers and is suitable for all kitchen surfaces. For stubborn dirt, the cleaner should be left on for about 50 minutes to dissolve the built-up grease directly.
A tip? Always test the application on a hidden area first so as not to damage surfaces or materials. Or seek advice from a manufacturer or industry expert before use to be on the safe side.
