  1. Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Slice the Italian loaf of bread in half lengthwise. Place the cut sides of the bread facing up on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, melt the butter and stir in the garlic powder. Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over both sides of each bread half. Set aside.
  4. In a medium nonstick pan, cook the ground beef and chopped onions over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the meat is no longer pink. Drain any excess grease. Add the water, salt, pepper, mustard, ketchup, and garlic powder to the meat mixture, stirring well to combine.
  5. Spoon the sloppy joe mixture evenly over the bread halves. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 14 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
