How to Make Liquid Soap
Let’s see below the elements that are required to manufacture this homemade liquid soap and each step in its preparation:
Materials:
- Soap scraps (equals 3 soaps)
- 1 large grater
- 1 saucepan
- 600 ml of water
Procedure:
First of all, we cut the soaps equivalent to 3 into pieces, keep in mind that we need about 60 ml of water for 3 soaps.
In the case of having leftovers of soaps equivalent to 4 units, then about 700 ml of water is required. Remember that if we add more water, the liquid soap will be too watery. The idea is to get a creamy, fuller-bodied liquid soap.
Let’s see the step by step of the whole preparation:
- Start by placing the pieces of soap in the saucepan with water and over moderate heat, until it comes to a boil while stirring constantly and melting the soaps. Remember, you can also grate soaps instead of cutting them into pieces.
- The key is to achieve a creamy texture and then the liquid soap will be ready.
Mix and pack:
- First of all, we add about 5 drops of lavender oil to the preparation or it could also be other fragrances to taste. Such as cinnamon, mint, orange, eucalyptus, among others.
- The idea is to obtain a fragrance since the pieces of soaps are varied, so the tip is to add these drops of oil.
- To finish, we got 2 bottles to store the homemade liquid soap. We can place each bottle, one in the shower and one bottle in the sink.
