Step 1: Preparation

1. Sterilize Pruning Shears: Clean your pruning shears with rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide to prevent introducing pathogens to the cuttings.
2. Take Thuja Cuttings: Cut healthy Thuja stems, making sure they are from the current season’s growth and free of damage or disease. Take multiple cuttings to increase your chances of success.
3. Prepare Aloe Vera Gel: Cut a fresh Aloe Vera leaf and extract the gel. Apply the gel to the cut ends of your Thuja cuttings. Aloe Vera acts as a natural rooting hormone, promoting root development.
4. Prepare Potting Mix: Fill your rooting container with the well-draining potting mix, leaving about an inch from the top.
