Freezing Tomatoes
If you have an abundance of ripe tomatoes, consider freezing them for later use. To do so:
Blanch the tomatoes in boiling water for a minute, then transfer them to an ice water bath.
Peel the skins off once they’ve cooled.
Freeze the peeled tomatoes in airtight containers or freezer bags.
