Sodium bicarbonate. You moisten a little baking soda with water and apply it to rusty objects. Scrub with a toothbrush or sponge. Finally, rinse and dry well.
Apple cider vinegar. Soak the rusty object in apple cider vinegar and let it soak overnight. The next day, scrub with a toothbrush or scouring pad and clean well. If there is any rust left, repeat the whole process.
Lemon. It has a slightly abrasive effect that helps remove rust. Pour a little salt on the rusty area and rub it with half a lemon. Repeat the treatment if necessary until the rust is completely removed.
Raw potato. It contains oxalic acid, a highly effective agent for removing mold and rust. Rub a potato directly on the rust. To increase the effect, spread some baking soda before scrubbing.
Aluminum foil. Cut several pieces of aluminum foil, about three or four square centimeters, and soak them in water. If necessary, rub the foil a few times over the rusty metal: the rust will disappear quickly.
