5. SODA CRYSTALS
Add 1/2 cup (125 ml) of soda crystals to each wash to make whites whiter and colors brighter, while reducing limescale deposits in the machine.
6. LEMON
Don’t have baking soda on hand? Don’t panic, you can also use lemon alone. Pour a little into the detergent drawer of your washing machine. Add the detergent and start the cycle.
7. WHITE VINEGAR
This is probably the simplest remedy. You can soak white laundry in a container filled with water with 2 glasses of vinegar, or pour the vinegar directly into the wash cycle of the washing machine.
8. MARSEILLE SOAP
This soap, in addition to being perfect for sensitive skin, is also a very good natural whitener for clothes. You have several options for using it.
The first is to make your own homemade laundry detergent using Marseille soap. In this case, wash your laundry in the machine as you usually do and use your homemade detergent based on Marseille soap.
Otherwise, you can also pre-soap your white clothes with Marseille soap, leave for a few hours then put them in the washing machine with the rest of your laundry.
