14.Plant the seed or seedling in the center of the bucket. Immediately afterwards, water the substrate around the seeds or seedling with standing water.

15.Pour the standing water through the plastic bottle/funnel until the entire tank at the bottom of the bucket is filled (its volume is approximately 10 litres). From now on you will water the cucumber bush just like this!

16.Cover the soil in the bucket with a layer of mulch. It will not allow moisture to quickly evaporate from the soil and dry out its surface layer.

17.Attach some ropes to the edges of the bucket and stretch them upwards, tying them to a high support. This way you will create sedges, on which the shoots of the cucumber bush will stretch.
18.Next take care of the cucumbers as usual.
THE ADVANTAGES OF THIS CULTIVATION METHOD:
1. Thanks to the fabric wicks, as the soil dries, it will draw water from the lower reservoir. If it is wet, it will no longer attract water.
2. Using this method, you can grow both tomatoes and peppers.
3. Ten gallons of water is enough to maintain soil moisture in the bucket for a week.
4. You can grow cucumbers, tomatoes or peppers on your balcony, terrace or veranda.
