Now I have a method that works for all possibilities.
First, you will need one liter of water. I put in a small spoon of citric acid and 3 big spoons of salt. Mix the solution well until the salt is fully dissolved.
Next, I put the chicken in this mixture. It is crucial that the body is fully submerged in it!
I let it sit for 3 hours, or even overnight.
This easy fix completely gets rid of any extra fat from the chicken. As an extra benefit, you will get more tender and flavorful chicken meat.
