Baking soda is a powerful ally in cleaning. To create an effective cleaning paste, mix one tablespoon of baking soda, one tablespoon of salt and two tablespoons of water until you have a thick paste. The amount will depend on the extent of the stains in your oven.
2. Application and action of the paste
Generously apply the paste to the stains inside your oven and leave to work. The longer the paste remains on the burnt residue, the better it will work. It will harden and form a sort of crust which will make it easier to remove.
3. Disinfection with vinegar
Once the paste has set, use a damp cloth to wipe down the inside of the oven. You can also use a plastic spatula to help loosen stubborn residue. Next, spray a mixture of water and vinegar inside the oven to effectively disinfect the surfaces.
