Despite the tragedy, Millie and Lewis decided to continue with the high-risk pregnancy, determined to cherish every moment they could with both their daughters. They chose meaningful names for their twins: Callie, who would go on to survive, and Skye, who they knew they would lose soon after birth. On April 30, after just 30 weeks of pregnancy, Millie gave birth to Callie and Skye via emergency C-section. Miraculously, both girls cried at birth—something the doctors hadn’t expected for Skye.
