Brioche dough: Dissolve the yeast in warm milk but not at all hot so as not to kill the yeast and a teaspoon of sugar
Let it rest for 15 minutes.
Melt the butter in the microwave and let it cool.
In a large bowl, put the flour, sugar and salt.
Add the yeast, butter and the rest of the milk.
Mix with a wooden spoon and when the dough starts to come away from the sides, take it out and knead it for 10/15 minutes.
Form a nice smooth ball, place it in the bowl and cover with a cloth.
Let it rise for between 1 and 2 hours in an oven preheated to 50° degrees.
The stuffing: Put the butter in the microwave a little to soften it.
Add the sugar and cinnamon and mix.
The preparation:
Roll out the dough on a floured work surface to form a rectangle
Spread the cinnamon stuffing all over the dough.
Roll the dough up on itself. Cut the dough into triangles, once on the right, once on the left. Take a triangle, place it on its base and with the handle of a wooden spoon, press the center of the point of the triangle to the base, being careful not to cut the bun.
Place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and leave to rise for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Dilute the egg with a little water and brush the buns with a pastry brush.
Bake for 10 minutes. Enjoy with a glass of hot milk or tea 🙂 You can also brush them with icing 🙂 it’s prettier
