Seed Preparation: Wash an avocado seed thoroughly and insert three toothpicks around its center. This support will allow the seed to remain suspended above a glass of water, encouraging root development.
Positioning: Place the glass in a well-ventilated and sunny location. Make sure the seed is exposed to direct sunlight, which is essential for avocado growth.
Stem Growth: Once the stem of the plant reaches about 15 centimeters in height, cut it back to about 7 centimeters. This will encourage the growth of stronger roots and new leaves.
