Baking soda is one of the best home remedies for removing tartar.
Mix two parts baking soda to one part salt with a little water.
Dip your toothbrush in this mixture and rub it over the areas where tartar has accumulated.
It is important to rinse your mouth thoroughly afterward, preferably with a water flosser, as no traces of baking soda should remain, as contact with the patient can damage the enamel.
