Watkins Inc. has raised concerns, arguing that McCormick uses visual tricks to make it seem like their tins hold more pepper than they actually do.

McCormick’s opaque containers hide the true quantity inside, while Watkins uses smaller, transparent containers that hold the same amount of pepper. Watkins claims that McCormick’s approach is misleading and violates consumer protection laws.
