Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Prepare Muffin Tins:
   • Put 1 teaspoon of melted butter into each regular-size muffin tin.
3. Prepare Batter:
   • In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and milk. Mix by hand until well combined.
4. Assemble Muffins:
   • Spoon 2 tablespoons of batter into each regular-size muffin tin on top of the melted butter.
   • Place 1 tablespoon of diced peaches on top of the batter in each muffin tin.
   • Sprinkle each muffin with brown sugar and a dash of cinnamon.
5. Bake:
   • Bake the muffins in the preheated oven for 12 minutes or until lightly golden.
6. Cool:
   • Allow the muffins to cool almost completely in the pan before removing them.
