🧑🍳 Directions:
1️⃣ Make the Crust:
1 Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2 Crush the cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or rolling pin.
3 Mix the crumbs with melted butter until combined.
4 Press the mixture firmly into a 9-inch pie dish, creating an even layer.
5 Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool completely.
2️⃣ Make the Fudge Layer:
1 In a medium saucepan, melt butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and heavy cream over medium heat.
2 Stir constantly for 3–5 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly.
3 Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt.
4 Pour the fudge mixture into the cooled crust and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
3️⃣ Make the Pudding Layer:
1 In a medium pot, whisk together sugar, cocoa powder, and cornstarch until well combined. Gradually add milk, whisking to avoid lumps.
2 Add egg yolks and place the pot over medium heat, stirring continuously.
3 Cook until the pudding thickens and begins to bubble.
4 Remove from heat and stir in chopped dark chocolate and vanilla extract.
5 Allow the pudding to cool slightly, then spread it over the fudge layer. Chill the pie again.
4️⃣ Make the Whipped Cream:
1 In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to stiff peaks using a hand or stand mixer.
2 Spread the whipped cream evenly over the chilled pudding layer.
5️⃣ Garnish (Optional):
• Sprinkle chocolate shavings on top for an extra touch of elegance.
