Although she was given the option to choose another customized plate at no extra cost, Auger shared her story on Facebook, sparking widespread support from social media users.
Many found the DMV’s action unnecessary, with one commenter noting how ridiculous the situation was, and another jokingly suggesting alternative plate ideas.
