Instead, she is entirely adorned with “prison-style” tattoos, and despite her inability to secure employment and the vitriolic abuse she endures each time she leaves her home, she is unable to prevent herself from acquiring additional tattoos, claiming that she is an addict.
Melissa Sloan, a 46-year-old woman from Wales, has no remorse for her 26-year destructive relationship with a tattoo machine. Since the age of 20, she has been receiving tattoos. Sloan now acknowledges that she is ostracized by society. Despite her realization that the more she attains, the more challenging life becomes, she continues to persist.
