Towels can easily absorb moisture and develop a musty smell if they are not properly dried and cared for. Fortunately, there is a simple and effective solution to permanently eliminate this bad smell and restore your towels to fresh and soft condition.
Identify the cause of the odor
Towels often smell musty when they remain damp for too long. This can be due to insufficient drying after use, storage in a poorly ventilated area, or improper washing.
Washing towels correctly
To avoid unpleasant odours, it is essential to wash towels at the right temperature. A 40°C cycle with a spin at 800 rpm is recommended to preserve the fibres while ensuring effective cleaning. If the towels are very dirty, a wash at 60°C can be considered after checking the label.
