Reduced charger life: a direct impact on your wallet

A charger left plugged in while not in use is not immune to  wear and tear . Internal components can deteriorate more quickly, reducing their effectiveness over time. This can cause:

• A loss of power.
• Charger overheating.
• A sudden breakdown when you need it most.

Especially if you use a generic or low-quality charger, the risk of malfunction increases significantly. Always choose  original or certified chargers  that meet strict safety standards.

Potential damage to your phone’s battery

It’s a common misconception that if a charger is plugged in but no phone is connected, nothing bad can happen. In reality, even an inactive charger can cause small  fluctuations in current . These  micro-variations , if they occur during charging, can  gradually damage your phone’s battery .

Poor quality or defective chargers are particularly affected. To protect your battery,  always unplug the charger when not in use .
