Lemon can then also be used as a real natural sponge, whose degreasing properties are effective in literally melting dirt and limescale.

We therefore advise you to take half a lemon and rub it along the whole tap. Leave on for a few minutes, then rinse and use a clean, dry cloth to remove excess.

For a more effective effect you can also dip the lemon biscuit in a little baking soda or with a pinch of salt then pass it on the taps to gently remove the incrustations. Leave to act a few moments, then rinse and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

The slight abrasive action of the bicarbonate, in fact, will join the limescale power of lemon and the contact of the two ingredients will give rise to an effervescent reaction capable of thoroughly cleaning the faucet and making it bright as never before!

In addition to the faucets, you can use this sponge to clean all stainless steel surfaces that have dark spots, including the hob!

NB . We advise you to have a delicate approach and not to insist too much with the sponge. The idea, in fact, is to use it as is normally done with abrasive sponges that have the roughest part.
Lemon and vinegar

Finally, let’s see how to combine lemon with another ingredient that can clean, stain and polish: vinegar. In this case, just mix the lemon juice with a little white vinegar and pour the mixture thus obtained in a spray bottle.

At this point, spray it on the faucets and let act for a few moments, then go with a soft cloth to rinse. Finally it dries thoroughly and you will notice that your faucet will return shining as if it had just been purchased!
