1 cup walnuts

¼ cup + 1 tablespoon  brown sugar, both wrapped (do not use dark brown)

¼ cup water

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

⅛ teaspoon + 2 pinches salt

Place a piece of parchment paper on a  plate (about the size of a dinner plate) or  other heatproof dish. Put aside.

Place all ingredients (except two pinches of salt) in a medium non-stick skillet.

Place skillet over high heat and cook (stirring occasionally) for 5 minutes (stirring constantly for the last minute and reducing heat to medium for the last minute) until all moisture has evaporated and the nuts are darker and shinier become stick. together (see cinema).
