Ingredients:
1 cup walnuts
¼ cup + 1 tablespoon brown sugar, both wrapped (do not use dark brown)
¼ cup water
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
⅛ teaspoon + 2 pinches salt

Place a piece of parchment paper on a plate (about the size of a dinner plate) or other heatproof dish. Put aside.
Place all ingredients (except two pinches of salt) in a medium non-stick skillet.
Place skillet over high heat and cook (stirring occasionally) for 5 minutes (stirring constantly for the last minute and reducing heat to medium for the last minute) until all moisture has evaporated and the nuts are darker and shinier become stick. together (see cinema).
It is important to ensure that all the liquid has evaporated before removing the dish from the heat.
Immediately transfer nuts to prepared parchment paper (scrape caramel residue from pan).Spread the nuts out in a single layer and sprinkle evenly with 2 pinches of salt.
Allow to cool to room temperature and mash with your fingers.
Keep walnuts in a container for a few days < – if that’s enough.
Notes
A non-stick frying pan is essential.
You can use a small non-stick frying pan, cooking time may take another 30-45 seconds
