Instructions
Step 1:
In a large bowl, let the ice cream soften.
Step 2:
Using an electric mixer on low speed, whip in the peanut butter until well blended.
Step 3:
Spoon half of the ice cream mixture into the prepared pie crust.
Step 4:
Top the ice cream with 3/4 cup of the melted (and cooled) hot fudge. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of the chopped salted peanuts over the fudge.
Step 5:
Spoon the remaining ice cream mixture over the fudge layer. Place the remaining hot fudge in a plastic bag, snip off a corner, and drizzle over the top. Drizzle caramel topping with a spoon.
Step 6:
Sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup chopped peanuts. Cover and freeze the pie for at least 2 hours or until firm.
Step 7:
Before serving, decorate the edges with whipped cream. Place peanut butter cups around the edge if desired. For easy slicing, use a knife warmed under hot water.
