Ingredients:
2 tablespoons white vinegar
3-4 large potatoes
Water (enough to soak the potatoes)
Cooking oil (for frying)
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the Potatoes
Peel and cut the potatoes into thin strips. Make sure the cuts are even for consistent frying.
Soak in Vinegar Water
Place the potato strips in a bowl.
Add enough water to fully submerge the potatoes, and mix in 2 tablespoons of white vinegar.
Soak for about 30 minutes to an hour. The vinegar helps remove starch and ensures crispy fries when fried.
Rinse and Dry
After soaking, rinse the potatoes thoroughly with clean water.
Pat them dry with a kitchen towel or paper towels to remove excess moisture.
