How to Make Pioneer Woman’s Apple Dumplings
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
Peel the apple and cut it into 8–10 wedges.
Separate the crescent roll dough into triangles.
Pat each apple wedge dry.
Roll each apple wedge in a crescent roll triangle, starting at the wide end. Pinch to seal and place in the baking dish.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter. Stir in sugar and cinnamon, whisking until the mixture thickens.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Pour the cinnamon mixture evenly over the dumplings.
Pour the 7-Up around (not on top of) the dumplings.
Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence!
