As a cleaning agent, lemon has many other benefits.

You can leave the lemon zest at the bottom of the trash can, close the lid and leave the citrus overnight to mask foul odors. Throw away the peels the next day so they don’t attract fruit flies.

Rust stains are sometimes unavoidable on some metal utensils. As soon as you notice a rust stain, you can remove it by rubbing the surface to be treated with a sponge soaked in lemon juice.

– Clean the microwave with lemon
The advantage of using lemon to clean your microwave is that you don’t need to scrub to get convincing results. Cut them into slices and place them in a bowl of warm water in the microwave. Turn on the appliance and let it sit for 5 minutes. The steam should loosen any remaining dirt that may have settled on the walls of the machine. Let the machine cool, then use a towel to carefully remove the bowl, which should still be warm. Wipe everything with a soft, damp cloth.
