DIY Rice Facelift Mask Recipe

  • ½ cup of uncooked rice (preferably organic)
  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 1 tablespoon of honey

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Rice:
    • Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water.
    • Boil the rice in water until it becomes soft.
    • Strain, reserving the water for later use (this is your rice water).
  2. Prepare the Mask:
    • Once the rice is cooked and strained, mix it with milk and honey in a bowl.
    • Mash the mixture until it forms a paste. For a smoother consistency, you can blend it in a food processor or blender.
  3. Application:
    • Clean your face thoroughly with your regular cleanser to remove any makeup or impurities.
    • Apply the rice paste evenly over your face, avoiding the eye area.
    • Let the mask sit on your skin for about 20-30 minutes.
  4. Rinse Off:
    • Wash the mask off with warm water, massaging your face gently in circular motions to exfoliate any dead skin cells.
    • For an extra tightening effect, rinse your face finally with the cold rice water you reserved earlier. This helps tone and firm the skin.
  5. Moisturize:
    • After drying your face gently with a towel, apply your favorite moisturizer to hydrate the skin and lock in the benefits of the mask.
