Directions:
Prepare the Ham: Place the ham in the slow cooker with the flat side down.
Make the Glaze: In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, and cloves until smooth.
Glaze the Ham: Pour the glaze evenly over the ham, ensuring it’s fully covered.
Cook the Ham: Add water to the bottom of the slow cooker, cover, and cook on low for 6-8 hours, basting occasionally with the glaze.
Rest & Slice: Once cooked, remove the ham from the slow cooker and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Serve: Drizzle the remaining glaze over the sliced ham before serving.
Variations & Tips:
Citrus Twist: Add orange zest and juice to the glaze for a refreshing citrus flavor.
Spicy Kick: For some heat, stir in a teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes to the glaze.
Maple Swap: Use maple syrup instead of honey for a richer, unique flavor.
Time-Saver: In a hurry? Cook on high for 3-4 hours instead of low for 6-8 hours.
