- Gradually add the warm water to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Divide the dough into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
- Flatten each dough ball into a disk, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Carefully place the flattened dough into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2 minutes on each side.
- Remove the frybread from the oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with honey, powdered sugar, or savory toppings like beans, cheese, and ground beef.
