  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Gradually add the warm water to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Divide the dough into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  5. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
  6. Flatten each dough ball into a disk, about 1/4 inch thick.
  7. Carefully place the flattened dough into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2 minutes on each side.
  8. Remove the frybread from the oil and drain on paper towels.
  9. Serve warm with honey, powdered sugar, or savory toppings like beans, cheese, and ground beef.
