Instructions:
In a large bowl, combine the beef, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, cumin, nutmeg, and coriander.
Add the beer and breadcrumbs and mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Moisten your hands with cold water and form the minced meat into sausages about 2 cm in diameter and 10-12 cm long.
Heat a pan over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of oil.
Fry the sausages in a pan for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Place the sausages on a baking sheet and bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 10-15 minutes, or until tender.
Serve German sausages with mustard, ketchup, steamed cabbage, potato salad, or other side dishes of your choice.
Tip:
For a richer flavor, you can add some lard or bacon to the minced meat.
For German sausages, you can use a ready-made seasoning mix.
If you don’t have beer, you can substitute it with water or broth.
Instead of frying sausages in a pan, you can also bake them in the oven.
German sausages can also be grilled.
Enjoy!
