STEP 1: PREPARE FOR BAKING
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
STEP 2: MIX DRY INGREDIENTS
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
STEP 3: COMBINE WET INGREDIENTS
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
STEP 4: ADD BANANAS AND DRY INGREDIENTS
Stir the mashed bananas into the wet mixture until combined. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
STEP 5: ADD CHOCOLATE AND PEANUT BUTTER
Gently fold in the chopped peanut butter cups and mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed in the batter.
STEP 6: BAKE
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. If the bread is browning too quickly, cover it with foil halfway through baking.
STEP 7: COOL AND SERVE
Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
