We’ve all been there, accidentally or while removing a stain, and spilled a little bleach on a colored garment we like and didn’t want to throw away. It’s happened to me several times, and before learning this valuable tip I’m about to share with you, I’d opted to throw away my bleach-damaged clothes. But luckily, my mother-in-law shared this tip with me to save bleach-stained clothing, even if it’s a brightly colored garment.
We all know that the vinegar we use every day has become one of the essential items when cleaning our homes.
Well, it can also be an excellent option to remove bleach stains from your colored clothing. Mix it with rubbing alcohol and, using a towel, apply it to the bleach stain on the garment. Then, rinse it and repeat the process until the result is as expected.
Another method:
There are color removers for white clothing on the market. All you need to do is pour it into the amount of water indicated on the container. Leave the garment submerged for about 90 minutes, then rinse it with cold water until the stain disappears. Remember that this requires patience and that you’ll need to repeat the procedure up to three times.
