Ingredients:
2 pounds of carrots, peeled and cut (baby carrots can also be used)
1/3 cup sliced butter
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
Place the carrots in your slow cooker.
In a separate bowl, mix salt, cinnamon, brown sugar, and maple syrup.
Pour this mixture over the carrots in the slow cooker and stir to coat evenly.
Distribute butter slices on top of the carrots.
Cover and cook on LOW for 5-6 hours (or HIGH for 3 hours), or until the carrots are tender. Stir occasionally if needed.
For a thicker glaze, turn the slow cooker to HIGH during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
Serve the glazed carrots warm as a delectable side dish and enjoy!
