Starting from the longer side, tightly roll the pastry into a log. Use the egg wash to seal the edge and prevent it from unrolling.

With a sharp knife, cut the log into 2cm thick slices. Place the slices on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between each roll.

Lightly brush the top and sides of each roll with egg wash for a golden, glossy finish. Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F) and bake for 30 minutes or until golden and puffed.
Step 5
Transfer the rolls to a serving dish, let them cool slightly, and enjoy your meal.
