Arrange the squash slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Sprinkle the salt and pepper evenly over the squash slices.
Generously top each slice with grated parmesan cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown and the squash is tender.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
