Instructions
Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
Cut the ribs into individual portions (2–3 ribs per piece) and season lightly with black pepper.
Bake the Ribs
3. Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil. Cover tightly with another layer of foil and bake for 2–2.5 hours until tender.
Make the Glaze
4. While the ribs are baking, combine honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, and sesame oil in a small saucepan.
5. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens slightly, about 5–7 minutes.
Coat and Broil
6. Once the ribs are tender, remove from the oven and discard the foil. Brush the ribs generously with the honey garlic glaze.
7. Turn the oven to broil and place the ribs under the broiler for 3–5 minutes until the glaze caramelizes. Keep a close eye to prevent burning.
Serve and Garnish
8. Remove from the oven, brush with any remaining glaze, and sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve warm.
Pro Tips for Success
Extra Tender Ribs: For even softer ribs, parboil them for 10 minutes before baking.
Grill Option: After baking, finish the ribs on the grill instead of broiling for a smoky touch.
Storage: Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or microwave.
