Can you really reuse a plastic bottle?
Good question! While, on paper, a PET bottle can be used multiple times to contain cold liquids, it’s important to know that this plastic weakens over time. As a result, invisible micro-cracks can appear… and become veritable breeding grounds for bacteria. Not ideal for your health.
And that’s not all. Exposing a plastic bottle to high temperatures (over 60°C), direct sunlight, or microwave ovens can release undesirable substances. In short: avoid filling it with hot water, leaving it in the car in summer, or using it for tea.
