1 ½ cups fresh or frozen strawberries, chopped
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons softened butter, for spreading
Cream Cheese Frosting:
4 oz cream cheese, softened
¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons heavy cream (for a smoother texture)
