When a blood clot blocks a blood vessel in the brain, it is called a cerebral embolism.
Hemorrhagic strokes make up 15% of all stroke cases, and they are not as common. The main reason is when an aneurysm bursts. Brain bleeds can also be caused by tumors, high blood pressure emergencies, and other bleeding disorders, as stated by the Ministry of Health.
